I’ve been a LuLaRoe Retailer since November 2016 – I can’t believe it’s been that long! It’s been an amazing journey, and I’ve learned so much about running a boutique! I didn’t know much about social media or inventory management when I started, but now I do after a lot of trial and error and investment in training. I’ve put together this Resource Toolbox for LuLaRoe Retailers and hope it helps retailers spend more time building customer relationships and less time in the weeds.
This is a constantly updated resource and was last updated on 05/30/2019.
Resource Toolbox – Inventory Management
Ring Light – Like many retailers, I started out with an umbrella lighting set but recently upgraded to a ring light. I love that it acts as both a light and a phone stand for lives!
Number Stickers – I number all of my inventory as it comes in by placing a sticker on the tag. I started at 0001 and I’m up to close to 5000! These stickers make it easy to show items live, give me an idea of the age of inventory, and ensure I know which inventory is mine in an in-person multi situation.
Hair Ties – I roll all of my leggings and wrap them in a simple ribbon hair tie. This is a fun bonus for my customers and keeps my leggings looking tidy, too.
DropBox – With easy integration with my favorite apps including LaCollage and the ability to access my files from mobile, laptop, desktop, or from the cloud, I’m a DropBox convert from Google Drive! Plan sizes vary and start at free! I keep all of my inventory photos on DropBox for easy access from anywhere.
Resource Toolbox – Photo Editing & Graphics
WordSwag – My go to for quick-words-over-pictures graphics. Plus they’re adding new fonts all the time now, well worth it!
A Color Story – My favorite graphic editing tool. The filters are instagram and blog worthy and it’s easy to use! I also have a few of the desktop Photoshop actions. With their new monthly subscription, you get access to ALL filters in the app for one low price!
Adobe Creative Cloud Photoshop – After I struggled for years with online programs for graphics, I finally went back to Photoshop for all of my blog graphics. I learned Photoshop in the early 2000s in High School Yearbook and believe it or not it hasn’t really changed!
Resource Toolbox – Social Media
Tailwind – Pinterest is a huge part of my social strategy! I started using Tailwind after I took the Socialite Suite course (linked below, Winning With Pinterest) and those two forces combined increased my monthly views on Pinterest MORE THAN TEN TIMES in two months! Between scheduling pins and Tailwind Tribes, I rely heavily on Tailwind for expanding my funnel. I get a half dozen Style Community joins a week from Pinterest!
Tap.Bio – You only get one link on your Instagram bio, so you need to make it count! I’ve tried lots of different programs to maximize the effect of that one link, but Tap

Resource Toolbox – Shipping
ShippingEasy – I’ve tried every shipping program there is, and ShippingEasy is just what it says – easy! They integrate with our LuLaRoe point of sale system, Bless, so customer orders automatically populate your orders screen including their address, email, and items they ordered. Simply enter the weight of the package and quick ship it – and you’re done! No more copy and pasting, it’s the best. This link gets you a free month!
Dymo 4XL printer and authentic Labels – This printer makes home shipping easy and professional-looking. If you ship mass quantities at home, you absolutely need this! Buy authentic labels or your printer will suffer – don’t learn the hard lesson I had to.
Dymo Digital Postal Scale – Does the job it needs to do without a fuss.
Poly Mailer Envelopes – I’ve used poly mailers with pretty designs but recently decided to go with a solid color in my brand – white, in this case – and use a sticker from VistaPrint to fancy it up! My customers love getting these packages.
VistaPrint – I use VistaPrint for my business cards, package thank you and care cards, and the stickers that go on my packages along with any other marketing needs. They run great sales all the time, provide great customer service, and what I get always looks how I expect it to!
Resource Toolbox – Organization
Trello – A To Do List on steroids. I’m so much more organized since I started using Trello!
Evernote – I use Evernote to draft blog posts, keep common text I use in the business for copy and paste, and much, much more.
Resource Toolbox – Training & Personal Development
I cannot recommend courses and products through Brenda Ster and Sassy Suite enough! Brenda is the real deal – she was the top earner and recruiter in her direct sales company for years before she found her passion in helping other small business owners build their attraction marketing strategy. A great place to start is her free group, the Socialite Suite. Here are the courses and products I believe have helped me the most.
The Elite Suite – The next step from the Socialite Suite, Brenda’s premium coaching group. This group follows a six-month repeated coaching arc with daily live training that covers the Three P’s of Social Strategy, Personal Branding, Funnels, Community Management, Influencer Strategy, and Business Tools. I cannot recommend it enough! I’ve been in Elite for over two years and I’m a
Winning With Pinterest Video E-Course – I thought I understood Pinterest until I took this course and I realized I did not, in fact, know anything about Pinterest and how it could help my business. I really recommend this course! My Pinterest monthly views have increased over 100x since I took this course!
Funnel Strategy Video E-Course – If you have accounts on different social media sites for your business, how do you link them together? Where do they lead? Everyone needs this funnel strategy course to help answer those questions!
Sassy Direct Premium – What if you could expand your warm market – that’s your friends and family – by getting found on Google Page One? Sounds pretty great, right? Sassy Direct is where you want to be! Sassy Direct is the #1 referrer for traffic to my blog!
Resource Toolbox – Website & Blog
SiteGround – I switched to SiteGround hosting a few months ago and I have never looked back! My site is faster and more secure, and SiteGround support cannot be beaten.
The Purple Teacup Co – Hope Hanson taught me everything I know about blogging through her blogging course! She has so many options now! Want to launch a business blog in seven days? She has a course for that. Her current Blog Lab is the closest to the course I took in 2018. Check out her Beyond Basic Blogging Bootcamp if you already have a blog and need a kick in the pants to get it going again, or the more intensive Not Your Ordinary Blogging School.
